Life has been busy with the Holidays and family staying with us for over 3 weeks! It was so fun to have so many people around. In a nut shell: Stephen flew up from California for 5 weeks; Titus, Stephanie, Sofia, and Mateo came up from Ecuador; Johanna gave birth to a son, Nico on Dec. 10th, which now makes 6 grandkids; 1st Christmas spent with Stephanie and the kids; Lots of activities, lots of fun! The house is feeling quiet with Titus leaving this morning and Stephen returns tomorrow morning. (Oh if there was some way to convince Stephen to move back up here...)
We picked a gorgeous day to go up to the mountains to go sledding! We thought that Sofia and Mateo were going to be the ones miserable because they are so used to being hot. Turns out, it was our kids that didn't fair very well in the cold. I ended up spending time in the heated car with Carson. Brady got pretty scared as Carl got him going pretty fast on a sled by himself. It took a lot for him to recover. All in all it turned out perfect. We got to sled and play around in the snow. Made some great memories with the kiddos!
